  There are FAT wallabies here. Heaps of birds and echidnas too. Great picnic area. Close to stunning bushwalking trails. Good parking. Lots of insects, but interesting ones, not bitey/stingy ones. Very nice spot to drink ten beers and look at trees.

  Nice quiet spot to have some lunch or just enjoy the fresh air with a nice book..

  We have had picnics here a couple of times - quite a decent spot for a fun day with your friends and family. There are wooden benches if you prefer sitting on table top - or just unroll a picnic blanket on the green grass. There is a bigger picnic spot nearby (1.5 KMs approx) with BBQ and toilet facilities close to Mason's Falls - you can either walk through the trees or drive straight. This is also close to Mount Sugarloaf Lookout - you can see the beautiful Melbourne CBD from the top

  A small carpark with a basic picnic area (i.e. 1 table) at the entrance to the Pational Park. Note that there is another car park with toilets and much broader picnic facilities about 1.5km into the park.

  Beautiful location, basic facilities, carpark is in poor condition though.
  
  Close to Sugarloaf and Masons Falls.
